Laurie Dye, FCGA
Born and raised in Vancouver, Laurie has been practising accounting on the North Shore for over 35 years. Since joining the Kemp Harvey Group in 1988, he has been the resident partner at Kemp Harvey Dye Inc. in North Vancouver. Laurie continues to serve as a long time member of the CGA BC Ethics committee and the CGA BC Education Foundation.
Outside of the accounting Association, Laurie presently is the Treasurer of the Anglican Provincial Synod of BC & Yukon. Formerly, Vice-Chairman-Finance of the National Council, Scouts Canada, treasurer of the Scouts Canada BC-Yukon Council, the Controller General of Scouts BC-Yukon Provincial Jamboree in 1999, a member of the Stewards In Action Ministry Commission in the Anglican Diocese of New Westminster, and along with his wife Pym, a member of the Bishop's Friends.
In July 1999, Laurie was awarded the "Fellow" designation by CGA Canada which is the highest honour the national accounting body can bestow.
